About style and experience
A social media gallery shows the best of many weddings. To know how a team works, ask to see one complete wedding, from the preparations to the party.
- Can you show us a complete wedding and a finished video?
- Have you worked at a venue similar to ours (beach, church, ballroom, at night)?
- Who will be there on the wedding day: the person we talk to or their team?
About coverage
Coverage defines which moments are kept. Make sure the schedule covers what matters to you.
- How many hours are included and what happens if the event runs long?
- Are photo and video done by the same team? How many cameras are at the ceremony?
- Does it include a pre-wedding session, a drone or a reel for social media?
About deliverables and timing
This is where surprises usually happen. Everything that is delivered, and when, should be in writing.
- How many edited photos are delivered and in what format?
- How long are the highlight video and the full-length video?
- When do the previews, the full gallery and the video arrive?
- How is the material backed up and for how long is it kept?
What is worth having in writing
A good proposal includes the date, the venue, the coverage hours, the deliverables, the delivery times, how to reserve with the deposit and the terms if the date changes. With that you can compare proposals like for like.
